It is extremely difficult to determine the initial quality of one tile product to another. They might look the same, feel the same, claim the same level of technical performance as one another, but there is only one way in which you can be sure these claims are true. If there is no British, European or International standard covering its production, you should exercise caution, as it is only by this seal of approval that you can be assured you are looking at a quality material.
Technical standards are your only way of ensuring that the product you select meets the necessary criteria to ensure a level playing field for your selection process. This allows you to make an informed decision on product, based upon years of successful production from reputable manufacturers.
